The Future of Liberal Arts in India was the subject of a conference co-sponsored by CMC Jan. 7-9 in Bangalore, India. President Chodosh led a CMC delegation to the landmark event. “The conference was a remarkable success on all levels, as it built a strong foundation for our future collaborations with leading educational innovators in India,” Chodosh said. “The conference highlighted the remarkable CMC experiences of our students from India, and the rich India expertise of our faculty. It also paved the way for CMC to make lasting contributions to new forms of global liberal arts education.” CMC and Pomona College hosted presidential receptions in Mumbai and Bangalore.
