Posted March 10, 2014 in News

At the end of February, KLI brought 8 members of Student impACT (Kyra McAndrews ’15, Marissa Mirbach ’16, Khadija Hassanali ’17, Jessie Capper ’17, Ellis Simani ’17, Julian Feeley ’16, Rich Zajac ’16, Cole Mora ’17) as well as 3 Pro impACT members (Neela Rajendra, Amy Bibbens, Nicole Sheldon Desjardins) to Brown University to the Ashoka U Exchange. The conference was centered around social entrepreneurship and innovation in education. Ashoka U has designated a number of these schools as Changemaker Campuses, which means that they are considered hubs for social innovation and entrepreneurship. Claremont McKenna is currently going through the selection process, and our application will be considered later this year.
