Earth Day Internship
The Kravis Leadership Institute has partnered with Sustainable Claremont to sponsor a paid, spring semester internship.
The City of Claremont and Sustainable Claremont are preparing for their SIXTH annual Earth Day, scheduled for April 26, 2014 from 10am-3pm.
The goal of the Earth Day Celebration is to increase community awareness of earth-friendly initiatives, services, and organizations available, to provide hands on learning opportunities, and to bring the entire community together for a fun and meaningful celebration.
This year the event is expected to bring more than 3000 people and over 85 exhibitor/vendor booths, which will be located along a two-block section of Second Street in the Claremont Village, Claremont’s downtown district. There will be live entertainment, including bands and demonstrations, art displays, a community bike ride/walk, a bicycle workshop and much more.
Sustainable Claremont is seeking an intern to help with the planning of the event. The intern will play a vital role in marketing, outreach, band coordinating and scheduling and assistance on the day of the event.
To apply please submit cover letter and resume electronically to Dr. Sherylle Tan, Director of Internships and KLI Research at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, February 7, 2013, no later than 5pm.
Please submit your completed application and resume to the Kravis Leadership Institute, Kravis Center, 4th Floor, reception desk. If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com or call 909-621-8743.
We look forward to working with you!
