Jessica Azerad ’17
Philosophy, Politics, Economics
Human Rights and Genocide Sequence Senior

Jessica Azerad is a Claremont McKenna senior majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a Human Rights and Genocide Sequence. She is comes from White Plains, New York. Jessica has been working at KLI as a Programs Assistant since September of 2013 and she is very excited to start her role as the Programs Team Lead. Apart from being a student and working at KLI, Jessica is also the Publisher and Webmaster for the Claremont Law Journal and works backstage for CMC’s Theatre group, Under the Lights. In her free time, Jessica loves to take road trips and read Agatha Christie novels.

Pema Donyo ’17
Economics & Finance

Pema Donyo is a senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance. She has worked at KLI since her freshman year and currently leads the research team. Though she originally hails from Upland, CA, she ventured out of Southern California last summer to work in New York City at an investment management firm focused on growth equities. She spent the summer before learning about global business relationships in the CMC-Yonsei leadership program in Seoul, South Korea. She is also the published author of several novels and loves writing new stories during her free time.


Mitchell Gaiser ’18
Economics & Engineering, 3-2 Program

Mitch is a junior dual-majoring in the Economics and Engineering 3-2 program and began working at KLI last year as an Institute Assistant. He is originally from Burlingame, California which is in the Bay Area and he enjoys cheering on the Giants, Warriors, and 49ers. This past summer, he worked at Dillard’s, Inc. as a Business Analyst/Technology Intern at their corporate headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mitch is currently a pizza and Olive-Garden-breadstick enthusiast and hopes to one day be an entrepreneur or industrial engineer.
