Storytelling for Fun and Profit
Communication, in particular storytelling, is an essential component of leadership. Leaders inspire communities of people and drive change through the narratives they share. Storytelling for Fun and Profit is a half-day workshop on February 11th, 2017 designed to empower your skills in communication and storytelling. During this program you will reflect on your personal story, understand what drives you, your purpose and your passion. Then, you will share your story with others in order to connect and build relationships with others at CMC. Through these interactions you are able to shape future goals and aspirations and make them a reality.
Sara Thompson and Gemma Bulos will be the lead facilitators for the program. Cole Mora ’17, Sydney Joseph ’18, Anthony Sidhom ’17, Jahnavi Kocha ’19, Sydney Baffour ’20, and Edgar Warnholtz-Perez ’19 will be the student facilitators. Lastly, Tori Gaines, Rory Fontenot ’19, Ishan Jawa ’18, and Elva Fu ’18 will be the logistic coordinators.
